We are looking for reliable, experienced, and professional self starter to join our team as Gas Technicians. As an Eric The Gas Man Gas Service Technician, you will be responsible for installation, servicing, and maintenance/repair of indoor/outdoor gas appliances at residential and commercial sites. You will consult, troubleshoot, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear. The Gas Technician drives value that improves customer satisfaction, maximizes customer retention, and increases profitability.
This is full-time and you will be evaluated based on your ability to respond to customer service requests, complete high quality installations, repairs, and excellent customer service on a regular basis. The Gas Technician reports to the Operations Manager for Installs, scheduling, permitting, and collaborates with other Gas Technicians as needed. The work environments are often in hot, wet and/or humid conditions typical of outdoors in South Florida. The job is physically demanding, requiring frequent standing, sitting, squatting, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
The successful candidate will possess:

Stamina – Able to work independently in physically demanding, extreme conditions for extended period
Focus – Ability to work unsupervised, efficiently managing tasks and time with attention to detail
Install liquid propane (LP) and natural gas (NG) appliances.
Install underground and above ground gas piping pertaining to the installation of generators, pool heaters, new construction piping and other gas appliances
Complete on-site installation, repair, maintenance and leak test.
Operate power tools, hand tools and vehicle, ensuring maintenance of company vehicle and maintain the highest standards of safety.
Conduct onsite consulting and estimating with prospective customers
Respond to emergency dispatch requests quickly when you are on call, weekends rotate for on call
Ensure preparation for each job, and follow job site protocols.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
Maintain spare parts inventory in a clean and well-organized work van
Travel to customer locations and work site daily
Produce timely and detailed invoices
Build positive relationships with customers
Qualifications and Requirements
At least 3 years of experience repairing, installing and servicing gas powered appliances and equipment.
Ability to lift heavy equipment at times and execute the responsibilities of the job.
Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment
REQUIRED: Clear criminal and driving records required
