Performs various maintenance duties and handles service requests requiring technical labor skills.
Inspects, operates, or tests machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
Dismantles machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts.
Performs routine maintenance.
Diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them.
Repairs machines, equipment, or structures.
Maintains or repairs specialized equipment or machinery.
Assembles, installs, or repairs wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
Orders parts, supplies, or equipment.
Plans and lays out repair work, using diagrams, drawings, blueprints, maintenance manuals, or schematic diagrams.
Performs general cleaning duties of buildings or properties.
Records type and cost of maintenance or repair work.

installs and troubleshoots washers, ranges and other large appliances for their customers.
Able to proficiently connect water or gas lines, and how to check for leaks once the appliances are installed.
Able to instruct their customers on how to operate the appliances properly.
Repair or replace any defective components found in appliances.
Capable to dismantle and reassemble appliances to make their diagnosis.
Other job duties may include record keeping, bill preparation, repair estimates and inventory control.
Appliance repair technicians must also have good customer service skills and a clean driver's license record.
Valid Driver's License with clean record
Must be at least 18 years of age
Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology
The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstances
Flexible and variable hours (no weekends)
High school graduate or equivalent
